What we collect, and why
We only collect what we need to run this site and reply to you. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not use your data to make automated decisions about you.
Contact form details
Name, email, company, company website, the services you pick, budget range, timeline, how you heard about us, and your message.

- To read and reply to your enquiry.
- Legal basis
- Legitimate interest — you contacted us and expect a reply. Where your enquiry is a request for a quote, taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- How long
- For as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of our correspondence. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Mobile phone number
Only if you choose to give it on the contact form. The field is optional.
- Why
- To call or text you back about your enquiry. Never added to a marketing list.
- Legal basis
- Legitimate interest — you contacted us and expect a reply. Where you also tick the text message box, your consent for messages sent by text.
- How long
- For as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of our correspondence. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Text message consent
Whether you ticked the text message box, and the date you did.
- Why
- To prove we were allowed to text you, and to honour it when you opt out.
- Legal basis
- Legal obligation — we have to be able to evidence consent, and a record of an opt-out is the only way to reliably stop.
- How long
- For as long as we may need to evidence the consent or the opt-out, and no longer.
Your IP address
Read from the request when you submit the contact form.
- Why
- Rate limiting, to stop the form being abused by spam bots.
- Legal basis
- Legitimate interest — keeping the site working and free of abuse.
- How long
- Held in memory only, for a few minutes. Never written to a database.
Analytics data
Pages viewed, rough location, device and browser, how you arrived, and — for Clarity — pointer movement, clicks and scrolling.
- Why
- To understand which pages are useful and where the site confuses people.
- Legal basis
- Consent. Nothing loads until you accept, and you can withdraw at any time.
- How long
- See the cookie table below.
You don’t have to give us any of this. The contact form is the only place we ask, and it’s entirely optional — but without a name and email we can’t reply.
Analytics & cookies
Analytics cookies are off until you accept them. Nothing is requested from Google or Microsoft until you do. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via at the bottom of any page. Declining costs you nothing — the site works exactly the same.

Strictly necessary cookies — the ones that keep the site and its admin login working — are always on, because the site cannot function without them. They are not used to track you.
Who else sees your data
We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing. We do rely on a few service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights — for example in response to a valid legal request.
Text messaging
This section covers our text message service specifically. It doesn’t replace the rest of this policy, which still governs everything else.
We only use the information you give us through this service to send your messages and reply to you. That includes sharing what is needed with the platform provider, phone companies, and other vendors who help deliver the messages. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy; that information will not be shared with any third party.
We still reserve the right to disclose information where we have to — to satisfy a law, regulation, or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property.

Sending data outside your country
We’re based in the United States, and so are most of the providers above. If you contact us from the UK, the EEA, or elsewhere, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Every provider listed above is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, which the European Commission has recognised as providing adequate protection. Their data processing agreements also incorporate the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, which stand as a second safeguard independently of that framework. You can ask us for the details that apply to you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — these apply in full if you’re in the UK or EEA — you have the right to:
- Access. Get a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction. Have anything inaccurate fixed.
- Erasure. Ask us to delete it.
- Restriction. Ask us to pause what we do with it while a concern is sorted out.
- Objection. Object to processing we base on legitimate interest — including at any time, for anything resembling direct marketing.
- Portability. Receive the data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent. Turn analytics back off at any time. This doesn't affect anything done while consent was active.
To exercise any of these, email info@sparkfire.us. We’ll respond within 30 days, and it’s free — we won’t charge you or make you jump through hoops.
If you think we’ve got this wrong, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK that’s the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EEA it’s the supervisory authority for your country. We’d appreciate the chance to fix it first, but you don’t have to ask us before you go to them.
Keeping it safe
This site is served over HTTPS, admin access requires authentication, and only the people who need to read your enquiry can. No system is perfectly secure, but we don’t collect data we don’t need — which is the best protection there is.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or which tools we load, we’ll update this page and the date below. If the change is significant, we’ll reset the cookie banner so you can make the choice again.
